Max's Restaurant - 200 AED

Max's Restaurant began operations in the Philippines in 1945, just after World War II. Maximo Jimenez, a Stanford-educated teacher, befriended American troops stationed in Quezon City, and Maximo's niece, Ruby, who ran the kitchen, created a special chicken recipe that became a favorite of American soldiers. Soon word spread among the Filipino residents near the place. They came looking for delicious, tender, juicy and crunchy fried chicken. Max's Restaurant was born. Over the years, Max's restaurant grew in popularity and became known as "The House That Fried Chicken Built". Today Max's operates more than 170 restaurants across the Philippines, North America, Canada and the Middle East. Made up of classic Filipino dishes along with seasonal specials and of course, the famous Max Fried Chicken, Max has established himself as a household name, institution and proud Filipino tradition. The second and third generation of the family continues to passionately adhere to the standards and traditions set by Maximo and Ruby for all Max restaurants around the world.\n
